An exciting traditional Irish band featuring new compositions in the traditional style alongside songs in Irish and English, all with dynamic and original arrangements and a distinct Northern style.

Madagán take their name from the iconic mountain that looks over the city of Belfast, where the band is based. Belfast has a very strong traditional musical culture, and singer Diane Cannon is from the Donegal gaeltacht of Gort an Choirce.
