I decided to give myself a birthday present in 2012, and started writing short stories about everyday life in Belfast on my blog, Vernacularisms.com. The blog has grown rightly since then, and now includes all manner of experimental writings in various genres. In January 2014 I started inviting guests to write their own Vernacularisms, and I’ve had wonderful responses from local and international writers and artists.
I’ve also published a number of short stories for adults and children, and poems. Some of them are available on the web, others are only to be had in print. You can find out more about them on the publications page. I’m always interested in collaborating with other writers and artists, so if you have something in mind you’d like to involve me with, please do get in touch.
